Privacy policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
At Flowtask, trust is part of the service. We collect as little as possible, and only to answer your enquiry. This page explains what we process, why, and how to exercise your rights.
This is the English version of our French privacy policy. Both describe the same processing. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Flowtask. For any question about your data: contact@flowtask.group.
Flowtask — sole trader under the French micro-entreprise regime, SIRET 107 565 079 00012, 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France.
Because Flowtask is established in France, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to this processing wherever you are located.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you send us yourself, through the demo form or by email:
- Your name and your company name;
- Your contact details (email, phone);
- Information about your business (trade, size, enquiry volume, tools, main goal);
- The content of the message you send us;
- The language you were browsing in, so we can reply in it;
- The content of the messages you write to the chat assistant, for the duration of the exchange (see section 6).
We collect no sensitive data and we never buy prospect lists.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Your data is used to answer your demo request, prepare a conversation suited to your trade, and follow up commercially. The legal basis is your consent together with our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you started. We do not use your data for anything else without your agreement.
4. How long we keep it
Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and the commercial relationship that may follow, then archived or deleted. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold. It may be processed by technical providers strictly necessary to run the site:
- Google (Google Workspace / Apps Script): receiving and storing form submissions, sending email notifications and your confirmation email.
- Google Fonts: loading the display fonts — only after you accept, see section 7.
- Google Analytics: measuring site traffic — only after you accept, see section 7.
- Google Calendar: if you use the booking link, to schedule the appointment.
- Anthropic: producing the chat assistant's replies — only if you use it, see section 6.
- Hostinger: website hosting.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Chat assistant
The site offers an automated assistant that answers questions about our services. It only runs if you open it and write to it.
- The message you type is sent to Anthropic PBC (United States), which drafts the reply. This transfer outside the European Union relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Anthropic retains exchanges for a limited period for security and abuse-prevention purposes, and does not use data sent through its application programming interface to train its models.
- Flowtask stores no conversation. The thread lives only in your browser: closing the tab or reloading the page erases it for good. All we keep is an anonymous daily counter, with no content and no identifier, used to cap the volume of calls.
- The assistant is an information tool. Its answers are neither a quote, nor a price, nor any contractual commitment by Flowtask.
A notice restates these points inside the assistant window. Please do not enter sensitive data there, nor confidential information about your own customers.
7. Cookies and analytics
Until you accept, this site sets no cookies and measures nothing. It then only stores two things in your browser, using localStorage: the language you chose and the consent decision you made. Neither allows any tracking, and neither is ever sent to a third party.
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline two services provided by Google: the loading of the display fonts, and traffic measurement. If you decline, nothing is requested from Google: the site displays in your system fonts and your visit is counted nowhere.
If you accept, traffic measurement is handled by Google Analytics, which sets cookies in order to tell visits apart. We use it only to know which pages are viewed and how visitors reach them. Two settings deliberately narrow that collection: your IP address is truncated before it is recorded, and Google's advertising features — cross-device tracking, remarketing audiences, ad personalisation — are switched off. Your browsing data may be processed in the United States by Google LLC, on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
You can change that decision at any time, either way:
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise them, write to contact@flowtask.group. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorised access. The connection to this site is secured (HTTPS).
